Matt DiBenedetto Nothing to Lose at Daytona
3 years agoMatt DiBenedetto is down to his last chance. Either he wins on Saturday night or the Wood Brothers Racing driver will miss "The Chase". Arguably, DiBenedetto had the car last week at Michigan but settled for sixth place. There definitely has been more speed in the No. 21 car of late. If it was not for that eight-race funk (18th or worse in each race), the driver might be in a better position. Qualifying ninth does help a bit for DiBenedetto. This is because quite a few drivers have little or nothing to race for. He just has to get to the front and find ways to stay close until the end. The driver may just have the car to win but he could wreck just as easily.
