5 years agoLeavine Family Racing driver Matt DiBenedetto registered a fourth-place finish at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday. It was DiBenedetto's first-career top-5 finish, as his previous best was at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2016 when he ended up sixth. DiBenedetto didn't lead any laps on Sunday, but it was a very memorable day for the LRS team and DFS owners who selected him. He'll try to keep up the good work at Chicagoland next weekend. However, he has struggled in four Cup starts at the Illinois tri-oval, posting a 32.25 Average-Finish Position, and his best finish was 29th in 2018.--Daniel Dobish
