3 years agoKicker Matt Gay officially signed his one-year restricted free-agent tender offer and will return to the Los Angeles Rams in 2022. The Rams placed an original-round tender on Gay and linebacker Travin Howard on March 16. Gay was a first-time Pro Bowler last year when he made 32 of his 34 field-goal tries, including 23 straight successful field goals. He also missed just one of his 49 extra-point attempts during the regular season. The 28-year-old went 8-for-10 on field goals in the postseason, including the game-winner in the Divisional Round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
