Matt Harvey Earns Second Win Of Season Thursday
7 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Matt Harvey pitched well in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Cubs. Harvey went six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk with six strikeouts. While his performance was reminiscent of the Dark Knight of old, the fact remains that he has struggled mightily this season. Harvey is now 2-5 with a 5.66 ERA and has allowed 13 home runs in 68 1/3 innings pitched. He has a long way to go before proving to be fantasy relevant again, and that path will not get any easier in his next start against a solid Braves lineup.
