6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Matt Harvey had a stellar start in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Brewers, tossing 5 2/3 innings of no-run ball on just two hits and no walks with six strikeouts. Apart from the decrease in strikeout rate (6.71 K/9 vs 8.47 K/9 career), Harvey has actually been a serviceable fantasy option since joining the Reds in mid-May, going 4-3 with a 3.86 ERA in 53 2/3 IP. While he is not close to the fantasy ace he once was, he is worth a look in deeper points leagues and appears to be usable in easy-to-decent matchups. Harvey will look to turn in another good start Saturday against a hot Cubs offense.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
