Matt Joyce Clubs Pinch-Hit Grand Slam Against Reds

3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Matt Joyce hit a grand slam in a blowout win over the Reds on Tuesday night in Cincinnati. The visitors already had a 10 run lead when Joyce pinch-hit for the pitcher, but that didn't stop the veteran outfielder from getting in on the fun in the 17-run outburst for the Phils' offense. Despite the salami, there's not much to get excited about with Joyce for fantasy purposes. He serves as the fourth-outfielder and has started just two games in the last week. With Bryce Harper (wrist) close to returning, Joyce feels like the likely candidate to send down to clear a roster spot when one is needed.
