7 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Matt Joyce (knee) hopes to return to play in Tuesday's game, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle. Joyce fouled a ball off his right kneecap in Sunday's game against the Giants. Joyce is recovering quickly and does not feel it will prevent him from starting the season. “Pretty positive and excited about how it felt today,” Joyce said.
