Matt Kemp Leaves Sunday's Game With Chest Contusion
6 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Matt Kemp left Sunday's game with a chest injury. He collided with the outfield wall trying to make a catch during the third inning and was later diagnosed with a chest wall contusion. Kemp doubled and scored a run in two at-bats before departing early. As of now, there's no indication that Kemp will require a stay on the injured list but it is still too early to know for sure. The Reds are off on Monday, giving Kemp an additional day to rest up. The veteran is hitting .200 with one homer, four runs, and five RBI on the year.
