6 years agoDetroit Tigers pitching prospects Matt Manning and Beau Burrows have finished up their minor league season at Double-A Erie, and traveled to Chicago on Wednesday to throw bullpen sessions for Tigers pitching coach Rick Anderson. Manning and Burrows are the Nos. 3 and 5 prospects in the Tigers organization, respectively, and both players are giving Tiger faithfuls some hope for the future in this rebuilding phase. Manning struck out 154 batters in 117 2/3 innings of work on the season, and Burrows finished the season 10-9 with 127 strikeouts in 134 innings of work.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
