4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Matt Moore allowed five runs in five innings pitched in a no-decision against the Braves on Sunday night. Moore allowed nine hits including two homers while striking out five in the contest. The veteran righty only threw 10 innings in 2019 and missed the 2020 season. The last time we saw him put up a decent innings total was 2018 with Texas when he pitched to a 6.79 ERA with a .309 batting average allowed. His career strikeout rate is barely over 20 percent so Moore offers very little upside in fantasy. He can be left on waivers for a start versus the Cardinals on Thursday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
