7 years agoThe Texas Rangers have placed starting pitcher Matt Moore on the DL with what is being reported as "knee soreness". The veteran left-hander has been awful this year, so it would not be too far-fetched to assume that this move is more of an opportunity to give Moore some time off to get his head straight. Moore has pitched in 41 2/3 innings thus far and has a 7.99 ERA along with a 2.02 WHIP to show for it. No advanced metric can save his tail and justify these gaudy numbers, so it is safe to say that ownership of Matt Moore is not recommended.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
