Matt Nagy Reiterates Andy Dalton Will Start When Healthy
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton (knee) has once again got the support of his head coach as the team's starting quarterback upon his return to the lineup. Justin Fields had a solid showing in Week 4, but it was still not enough to secure his role as the QB1 in Chicago. With this news, Allen Robinson II and Darnell Mooney can be downgraded in terms of fantasy value, as Dalton has not shown he can be relied upon to be an effective passer. Whenever Dalton returns to the lineup, he is no more than a QB2 in deeper leagues because of his limited ceiling in the Chicago offense. Robinson could post solid WR2 numbers, so he will be the only pass-catcher in the Chicago offense that is worth a spot in fantasy lineups on a weekly basis.
