4 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 1-for-3 in Tuesday's 12-3 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Olson is now 8-for-22 with three home runs, nine RBI, and six runs scored so far this spring. Olson struggled with his average in 2020 as he hit just .195, but his power numbers were superb as he smacked 14 home runs and drove in 41 RBI. He also posted a walk rate of 13.9%, so it is quite possible the down year in average was an anomaly as he was a career .253 hitter entering the 2020 campaign. He currently has an ADP of 85 and is a solid choice as a starting first baseman on most fantasy rosters in 2021.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
