6 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 3-for-4 with a single, a walk, a pair of home runs, and five RBI in Friday's 16-0 beatdown of the Royals. The power-hitter took full advantage of the Royals' propensity to give up the long ball, taking Ian Kennedy deep twice, once in the second inning and once in the third. Olson now has 11 HR on the season and is heating up, batting .269 with four HR and seven RBI in his last seven games.
