7 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson got into the offensive explosion with a homer in the 10-5 win over the Blue Jays on Thursday. Olson had been struggling as of late but has started to turn things around in the last week with six runs, three homers and five RBI. He finished the night with a homer (seven) and three RBI. Olson continues to strike out (30.4 percent) more than his average, so expect even more positive results once he gets in the groove and lowers his strikeout rate while increasing his walk rate.
