7 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson had started the first 12 games of the season for the A's, but he will take a back seat from the bench for Oakland's series finale with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. Olson hasn't quite tapped into the power that he flashed last season, as he only has two home runs thus far, but do not be stressed, as the power will come as he continues to get his feet wet in the 2018 season. Typically, he has been sandwiched in the lineup between outfielder Khris Davis and third baseman Matt Chapman, so Olson should continue to see pitches he'll enjoy as long as the other two guys stay healthy.--Brendan Kennealy
