7 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Monday in a win over the Red Sox. His fifth HR of the season was a scorching line drive into the right center field seats hit off Rick Porcello. Olson flexed his power potential last season but is currently only on pace to hit 20 HRs this season. He faces tough pitching matchups in the remainder of the Red Sox series but should have opportunities to put more bombs on the board the following series against the Blue Jays, whose pitching staff has given up the sixth most HRs this season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
