3 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a win over the White Sox on Thursday. Olson came up in a tie game in the top of the seventh and quickly gave Oakland a lead it wouldn't relinquish by blasting a 391-foot shot that Statcast clocked at 109.4 MPH off the bat. The All-Star first baseman is having another fantastic season as he's slashing .279/.376/.567 with 31 homers and 81 RBI, anchoring a good Oakland lineup.
