3 years agoNew England Patriots offensive coach Matt Patricia called the plays for the team's offense at training camp practice on Wednesday. Players pointed out that Patricia brings all his defensive knowledge to the table and let's them see, as offensive tackle Trent Brown said, "the who, what, when, where and why" of how a defense thinks and wants to play. New England didn't officially name an offensive coordinator, but the expectation was that Patricia would be the man calling plays in 2022. Second-year quarterback Mac Jones is showing signs of maturity already, but the move from Josh McDaniels to Patricia at offensive coordinator is seen as a downgrade for the young signal-caller.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
