3 years agoLos Angeles Kings defenseman Matt Roy (lower body) has been activated from Injured Reserve and appears set to play Thursday against Edmonton. He hasn't played since Mar. 12, sitting out 12 games. Roy has had a solid season with 17 points, 140 shots, 104 hits and 87 blocks in 58 games. He was logging some very heavy minutes before getting injured and should face a busy time straight away in his return, with the Kings still missing Drew Doughty (undisclosed), Mikey Anderson (upper body) and Sean Walker (knee) from the back.
