4 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan completed 31 of 42 passes for 338 yards and a touchdown in a 23-22 loss to the Lions. Ryan found Calvin Ridley for his lone score of the game, though there certainly opportunities for more. Still, the takeaway from this game is that Ryan has righted the ship after there were some reasons to be concerned about his performances- Julio Jones certainly helped in that regard. The veteran signal-caller will look to do better in his second try against the Panthers Defense after they held him under 250 passing yards without a score.--Tim Capurso
