4 years agoMatt Schnell (15-5) was able to rebound from a tough loss to earn the split decision over another good fighter in Tyson Nam on Wednesday. Louisiana's own looked faster than ever before, and his strikes landed crisply. He was able to avoid the big right hand of Nam, which was Nam's key to an early victory. Schnell was able to handily outstrike Nam, landing 85 significant strikes compared to Nam's 58. Though it was a split decision, Schnell looked to have walked away with the victory. Danger will look to make his push to the top of the flyweight division and can cause havoc if he puts on more performances like he did on Wednesday.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
