2 years agoAccording to Sports Hochi, former Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker is nearing a deal with the Yomiuri Giants of NPB. Shoemaker pitched for the Twins in 2021, where he compiled a dismal 8.06 ERA with 40 strikeouts across 60 1/3 innings pitched. He spent parts of nine seasons in the big leagues with the Los Angeles Angels and Toronto Blue Jays as well.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
