4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker had his first ugly outing as a member of the Jays in the team’s 10-1 loss to the Braves on Tuesday. The right-hander surrendered six earned runs on three walks and six hits, while striking out a pair over 4 2/3 IP. Shoemaker allowed three homers in the contest, marking the first time he’s allowed more than two in a game since 2015. With the postponement of their weekend series, Toronto pitchers have had their schedules out of whack, which hopefully doesn’t become a trend in 2020. Shoemaker will look to rebound in his next scheduled start versus the Red Sox on Sunday.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
