Matt Shoemaker Throws From 90 Feet On Saturday
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker (forearm) was able to throw from 90 feet on flat ground Saturday. Shoemaker is rehabbing his way back from a forearm nerve surgery he underwent in May. It's likely that he remains out for the rest of the season and he could potentially miss part of 2019 as well. However, he is advancing in his throwing program and attempting to make progress along the way. Shoemaker owns a career 39-30 record with a 3.88 ERA and a 461/123 K/BB ratio. At 31 years old, he isn't a hold in dynasty leagues, however, he could potentially be a useful streamer if he gets his health in check during the 2019 season.
