5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Matt Shoemaker (knee) has been pegged for his spring training debut on Monday versus the Pirates. The veteran has taken it slow so far in camp after suffering a season-ending ACL tear in April last season, but is still on track to make the Opening Day rotation. Shoemaker got off to a torrid start in 2019, holding a 1.57 ERA and 0.87 WHIP through five starts and could have some mixed-league value if he can stay on the field in 2020. He's currently going at next to no cost so far in drafts, making him a low-risk selection in deeper formats.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
