7 years agoSan Diego Padres relief pitcher Matt Strahm (knee) has been activated off the 10-day disabled list and Kazuhisa Makita has been sent down to Triple-A as a result. Strahm was acquired in the trade that sent Brandon Maurer to the Kansas City Royals and has yet to pitch for the Padres after his season-ending injury back in July last season. While Strahm has the capability to start, he will most likely be used in the bullpen and will not hold fantasy relevance unless he starts.--Caden Inaba
