3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Matthew Boyd (arm) is unlikely going to return to the roster before August. He has resumed his throwing program, but Detroit has not given a timetable for his return. Boyd has been sidelined since mid-June due to left arm discomfort. This is a shame considering he was pitching well before the injury. Fantasy managers can continue to stash him if you have an IR spot available. Otherwise, Boyd probably isn't worth holding because it's unlikely he pitches deep into games once he does return to the roster.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
