2 years agoSeattle Mariners left-handed pitcher Matthew Boyd (elbow) will reportedly be activated at some point for the team's upcoming series against the Detroit Tigers, according to The Detroit News' Chris McCosky. McCosky notes in his tweet that the left-hander will pitch out of the bullpen for the Mariners. A starter for most of his career in the Majors, the left-hander previously made 15 starts for Detroit last season. In those 15 starts, he turned in a 3.89 ERA, a 4.10 FIP, 67 strikeouts, and 23 walks in 78.2 innings for the Tigers.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
