4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford enters the 2020 season with plenty of bounce-back buzz but could underwhelm in Week 1. Stafford was en route to a career season in 2019 but a fractured back ended his season. The veteran passer is garnering plenty of top-10 quarterback buzz but will go up against a Bears Defense that allowed the second fewest fantasy points to opposing passers last season. Chicago's defense held opponents to only 16 passing touchdowns in 2019 and, in 18 career games against the Bears, Stafford has thrown 21 interceptions. The arrow is certainly pointing up for Stafford's season as a whole, but fantasy teams may need to temper expectations for Week 1.--Joey C - RotoBaller
