Matthew Stafford In Tough Spot Week 15
6 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford had one of the least productive games of his 10-year career last week against the Cardinals, throwing for just 101 yards and no touchdowns. Despite the Lions winning 17-3, Stafford left much to be desired, and the situation doesn't get better this week on the road against the Bills. The 30-year-old signal caller leads one of the most depleted offenses in the NFL right now. Kerryon Johnson (knee) has missed several weeks and Marvin Jones (knee) is on the IR, so his weapons are limited. The Bills defense has kept them competitive all season and they have allowed the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, meaning Stafford could have his work cut out for him. Don't lean on him as anything more than low-end QB2.
