Matthew Stafford Throws One TD, Three Picks In Blowout Loss
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 29 of 41 pass attempts for 240 yards and one touchdown while throwing three interceptions in the Rams' 31-10 Thursday loss to the Buffalo Bills. The defending Super Bowl champions did not look composed, and Stafford lacked chemistry with his new receiver Allen Robinson II, whom he only targeted twice for one completion, while No. 3 WR Van Jefferson (knee) missed the game. The 34-year-old sailed passes, and his arm looked limited. It didn't help that he was heavily pressured and sacked seven times, including twice by his former teammate Von Miller. On the plus side, the Rams got their toughest matchup out of the way. Stafford will look for a bounce-back game against the Falcons in LA in Week 2.
