4 years agoAtlanta Braves left-handed pitcher Max Fried has stepped into his potential thus far in 2020, having compiled a sparkling 1.32 ERA through his first six starts. Even with batters trying to launch home runs with an increased frequency around the league, Fried is yet to allow a long ball in his first 34 innings. The biggest key for Fried has been avoiding hard contact, as his 82.9 average exit velocity ranks him among the top four percentile of all pitchers. His next start is set to come Friday against Philadelphia, whom he has already defeated twice this season and limited to one run across 10 frames. His DFS price is likely only going to continue to climb, but he should be owned in all season-long formats at this stage.--Jesse Borek
