4 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (hand) is feeling fine after he was forced to exit Monday's start due to cramping in his hand, according to Mark Bowman of MLB.com. Fried said after the game that he didn't know if the cramping was due to dehydration, but he said he had been sick and was on antibiotics over the past few days. Prior to his exit, Fried was putting up one of his best starts of the year, allowing just one run on five hits and two walks while striking out eight in six innings of work. It sounds like this will be nothing major going forward for Fried, who currently owns a 5.46 ERA and 23.1 percent strikeout rate on the year.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
