5 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried struggled Tuesday night in Pittsburgh surrendering 5 runs in 4 innings pitched. Fried gave up 9 hits with 2 walks and only struck out 3. It was a disappointing start for the young left-hander who has now given up at least four earned runs in back-to-back starts. Despite his recent struggles Fried still has a 3.68 ERA with an xFIP under four. He has a dream matchup next time out at Miami who has the worst team wOBA against left-handed pitching.
