5 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Max Fried allowed five runs on nine hits in four innings of work during a 12-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. He walked two batters while striking out three. The 25-year-old has now had two ineffective starts in a row, allowing a combined nine runs across his past 9 2/3 innings. Fried still owns a respectable 7-3 record to go along with a 3.68 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 59/18 K/BB rate. Depending on how the Braves choose to utilize their rotation, Fried will either get the Miami Marlins or the Pirates again in his next start.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
