Max Fried Surrenders Four Runs Against The Nationals
6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Max Fried allowed four runs on nine hits through 5 2/3 innings of work during a 5-4 loss to the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night. Fried walked three batters while striking out five. It was not the most inspiring performance from the 25-year-old, but Fried has been fantastic throughout the majority of the season. It was just the third time in 11 starts that Fried has allowed more than three runs. He owns a 7-2 record to go along with a 3.19 ERA and 56/16 K/BB rate. Fried will look to rebound against the Pittsburgh Pirates in his next projected start.
