4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in a 4-1 win over the Cleveland Indians. Kepler absolutely crushed a 3-1 fastball 444 feet into the upper deck in right field for his third homer of the season. The ball traveled at an exit velocity of 106.9 MPH, so he absolutely got all of it. The 27-year-old had a quiet few games after his Opening Day show, so perhaps this performance can get him back on the right track. Cleveland will send another right-hander, Carlos Carrasco, to the mound on Saturday, so expect Kepler to be in the lead-off slot again in what should be a favorable matchup for him.--Tim Capurso
