4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (hamstring) went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, and four RBI in Sunday's loss to Oakland. Kepler served as an excellent run-producer for Minnesota, belting a three-run homer in the second inning, then lofting a sacrifice fly in the third. He later doubled and scored a run. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that the 28-year-old tweaked his hamstring while running the bases late in the game- and that he's being evaluated. A potential injury couldn't come at a worse time for both the Twins, who are already short on outfielders and Kepler, who has hit four homers in May after not hitting one for all of April. The Twins should provide another update on the status of Kepler.--Tim Capurso
