4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielders Max Kepler and Kyle Garlick (COVID-19) were reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list on Friday, according to Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic. Kepler and Garlick were placed on the COVID-19 injured list on April 20 after positive tests, but they have both since tested negative. In 12 games this year, Garlick is slashing .280/.321/.400 with three RBI and six runs scored, while Kepler is hitting .234 with a .677 OPS, eight RBI and five runs scored in 14 games. With their reinstatements, the Twins have cleared space on the roster by optioning catcher Ryan Jeffers and outfielder Brent Rooker to the minors.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
