Max Kepler Leaves With Illness Tuesday
3 years agoUpdating a previous report, Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (illness) left the game early on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles because he was under the weather. Kepler tested negative for COVID-19, so fantasy managers can rest assured that he won't have to miss extended time while on the league's COVID injured list. The 29-year-old left-handed hitter went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before leaving the game in the fifth inning. Consider him day-to-day for now and check back on Wednesday to see if he's back in the Twins starting lineup. Kepler has been hitting the ball with authority this year, going 18-for-73 (.247) with five home runs, 12 RBI and nine runs scored in 23 games.
