3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday. Kepler has been dealing with a sore hamstring for over a week and was removed from Saturday's contest after the ailment worsened. The Twins recalled Benjamin Rortvedt from the minors in a corresponding move. Manager Rocco Baldelli said the Twins "plan to ride" Rob Refsnyder as their everyday center fielder with Kepler sidelined, as the former has been red-hot at the dish.--Tim Capurso
