Max Kepler Slugs A Pair Of Homers
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler went 2-for-3 with two home runs, three runs scored, and three RBI in Monday's 8-5 victory over the Chicago White Sox. Kepler launched a two-run homer in the second inning, then later added an insurance run to the Minnesota lead with a solo shot in the eighth inning. He has now left the yard three times in his last two games, giving him nine round-trippers on the season to go along with seven stolen bases. Despite his increase in strikeouts, Kepler is posting career-highs in barrel rate, hard-hit rate, average exit velocity, and expected slugging percentage, making him an ideal third or fourth outfielder for fantasy squads.
