Max Kepler's Knee Issue Appears Minor
7 years agoUpdating a previous report, Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (knee) left Wednesday's game in the 10th inning with a knee issue. Manager Paul Molitor updated Kepler's status on Thursday, saying that the team thinks he will be alright. It sounds like the Twins removing Kepler from the game was a precautionary measure, which is good news for a team that has been hit hard by injuries over the past few days. Minnesota is off on Thursday before they take on the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday, giving Kepler an extra day to heal up. Kepler can be considered day-to-day for now.
