3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie pitcher Max Meyer was outstanding in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the New York Mets. The 23-year-old started the third inning and ended up pitching four perfect innings while striking out five. He was dominant in all four innings and, at least based on this one performance, looks more than ready for at least a bullpen role on the Marlins roster. Rumors have swirled about him being showcased in advance of a trade for a center fielder, but regardless of what uniform he's wearing when he makes his debut, Meyer will be worth rostering in most formats once he's up on the big league club.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
