Max Scherzer Allows Four Runs Across Seven Innings Sunday
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer lasted seven innings against the San Diego Padres Sunday, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out eight batters. He took a no-decision. It's a strong bounce-back for the all-star, who allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings his last outing before the break. Scherzer now has a 2.83 ERA and 0.89 WHIP with 142 strikeouts in 105 innings for the year, once again turning in a dominant fantasy season.
