5 years agoMaking his first start since going back on the IL on July 26, Nationals starter Max Scherzer went four innings against the Pirates on Thursday, allowing one run on three hits, including a solo home run by Adam Frazier. Scherzer struck out four and threw 78 pitches, 48 for strikes. When healthy, Scherzer is a top-3 pitcher in fantasy but has now only made two starts since July 6.
