Max Scherzer Starting Friday After Strong Outing Against Marlins
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer will look to continue his strong start to the season when he takes on the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. Scherzer limited the Miami Marlins to five hits, two walks and an earned run in six innings during his last outing on Sunday. The veteran picked up the win in the contest while also notching seven strikeouts. What's more, the right-hander also posted a stellar 35% CSW rate and generated 21 swinging strikes. He'll have a much tougher matchup next time around against the Dodgers at home. That being said, it's not advisable to sit Scherzer in fantasy, even when he's facing a team that has scored the third-most runs in baseball.
