4 years agoWashington Nationals starter Max Scherzer allowed three runs on seven hits through six innings of work during Wednesday's 3-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. He struck out six batters while walking three. Even though the Nationals' bats were silent, it was not the best outing from Scherzer. He now owns a 3-2 record to go along with a 3.95 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 61/16 K/BB rate. The veteran's next start will likely come against the Atlanta Braves over the weekend, and he is always a worthwhile fantasy play when he takes the mound.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
