4 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer (hamstring) left his Wednesday start after just one inning and attributed his short start to a hamstring issue. Although it forced him to end his night early, Scherzer’s hamstring injury appears to be minor and seems unlikely to cost him more than one additional start. Nevertheless, fantasy players should pay close attention to Scherzer’s hamstring in case it becomes a more significant issue, and expect the 36-year-old to continue dominating when healthy.--Sam Chinitz
